This was my first video with my Canon 550D.
It was last sunday; January 30th 2011; it was hot as hell, and the field was crowded.
It was Jaue maxx, Masio and Adiett fufufu in that video.
I was confuse about the tagline for the ending, but in the last hours, I just said "Ride it like you want it". Just ride like you want, enjoy yourself, and feel free.

I shoot it with 50fps and change it to 25fps with Cinema Tools in Final Cut Pro.
And get it downgrade speed to 50 %.
I was having a hard time to upload it to the internet, so I converted it to 40.1 MB. hope it's not to lame, but I did it for me anyway.
So enjoy!

"Bikes on Wheels and artist Mike Giant have teamed up with Leader bikes to produce some custom pieces of bike art. These frames are going to be on display for the Bicycle Film Festival at Mascot, 1267 Queen st.W in Parkdale from August 18, before being auctioned off for charity. Hi Gabrielle, welcome to the team. Vital stats first, age, where are you from, first bike, what d'you do for a living, tell us in the UK a little about yourself....

19, I'm from Milwaukee, WI. I work at Northwestern Mutual, an Insurance Company in downtown Milwaukee. (I have a mom job!) My first bike was when I was a little girl so I don’t remember exactly...but my first fixed gear was a old Raleigh frame then after that and my current bike an eighth inch
I love to listen to music! :) Suburban Kids with Biblical Names, Jens Lekman, I'm From Barcelona, Modest Mouse, City & Colour, Beirut are always playing on my zune. I love hanging out with friends and goofing off. Moving to Portland, OR this summer, and I can't wait!

How did you start riding fixed gear bikes?

I'm going to be honest here, I hadn't rode a bike in a really longgg time before I got my first fixed gear! (Not going to say how long, because it's pretty sad!) I started hanging out with a bunch of guys that had fixed gears and they were very intriguing to me, so I thought hey, why not!? So since my Dad used to race when he was younger and worked at a local bike shop where I grew up I got a really good deal on my first fixed gear!

What are you most looking forward to whilst riding for Charge Bikes and for 2010 in general?

I am really looking forward to riding for Charge Bikes and being a part of something that is growing so fast! It's funny because when I first started riding I looked up to Juliet Elliott as someone who I wanted to be like, and now I am riding on the same team as her! I'm also looking forward to riding the scissor frame and fork, because I think it's going to help me progress in fixed gear freestyle a lot. In 2010 I would just like to see a lot more girl riders out there, and as for me, to really step up my game and not be afraid to try big tricks!!

i googled how to convert an old frame to fixed and started riding that

whats in your bag?
its full of dirt mainly as i just got back from a festival. Other than that, i got a bunch of filter tips floating around, a new chain and sprocket for my BMX, my wallet and lipstick. And normally my camera. But obviously i took that out to take the picture!

"Next year, CHINA is going to become the cultural hub of fixed-gear biking," says Tyler Bowa (Founder of people's Bike), fully bearded but barely out of university. "When I moved here 12 months ago I couldn't find one shop selling these kinds of bikes (in Shanghai). Now there are six or seven. It's becoming much more affordable."

With China's increasingly fashionable and bike-friendly youth warming to the idea of new sports like "bike polo" and alleycat racing, Bowa predicts the number of riders nationwide will triple by next March, led by progenitors in Guangzhou who pick up trends from nearby Hong Kong.

Together with his business partner Karl Ke, Bowa organized Shanghai's first-ever alleycat race, in November, taking their cue from alleycat's China debut six months earlier in Beijing.
"What people soon realize about fixed-gear biking is that it's not just fashionable, fun to customize, a little bit edgy and dangerous, or even healthy," Bowa says.

It's been a great job and a great family crew there.
Terlalu banyak tempat indah di Jogjakarta. Penduduk setempat yang luar biasa pula.
Meninggalkan kenangan yang menyenangkan di tahun 2008 kemarin.
Menunggu waktu lama untuk mendapatkan pekerjaan seperti itu lagi.
Mudah-mudah-an kita bisa bekerja kembali, teman...! Nice job!

Mission is done!
Saya dan kiky (jaue) membantu untuk mengumpulkan dana biaya rumah sakit Putri.
Bersama dengan anak2 yang lain, kita akhirnya membuat sebuah acara amal yang diberi nama "ART FOR CURE; kita semua sayang Putri".

Pada mulanya,
acara pengumpulan dana ini sudah dimulai jauh sebelum acara ART FOR CURE itu berlangsung.
Dimulai dengan acara bakar2an dengan membuka stand kecil2-an dan memutar sebuah video dr Putri. Lalu, kita juga menjual berbagai minuman dan makanan kecil ketika di kampus IKJ ada acara yang sedang berlangsung.

Sepanjang itu berlangsung, saya dan kiky (jaue) membuat sebuah blog untuk Putri (berawal dari ide kiky (jaue) untuk membuat blog tersebut). Dimana ia bisa mengisi blog itu sendiri dengan kata2nya sendiri dan juga memasukkan foto2nya yang terbaru sampai informasi terbaru mengenai Putri dan keluarganya.
Sehingga teman-temannya dan siapapun bisa mengetahui tentang Putri tanpa perlu harus menunggu waktu yang lama dan memakan biaya yang banyak.

Dari blog ini,
ternyata membawa pengaruh banyak,
sampai di titik dimana saya, Bondi dan Pupu berniat
untuk membuat sebuah acara amal besar untuk Putri.
Dan bentuk dari ide itu adalah ART FOR CURE ini.
Berbagai media juga kami undang,
dan beberapa dr mereka bersedia untuk membantu
Begitu juga dengan teman2 kita.
Dengan bantuan mereka,
akhirnya acara ART FOR CURE ini dapat berlangsung dengan lancar.

Banyak pelajaran dan hikmah yang dapat kami ambil dr proses ini semua.
Bagi pribadi saya,
ini adalah bukti dari sebuah niat baik dan ketulusan untuk membantu sesama, yang akhirnya mendapat jalan untuk mewujudkan itu semua. Niat baik sekecil apapun janganlah kamu tunda, karena apapun itu pasti akan mendapat jalannya sendiri. Dan akan membuahkan sebuah hasil yang besar, bagimu dan bagi orang lain. Aminn...

Ayo kita mulay misi ini. Entah kenapa, rasa semangat ini udah menggebu-gebu.

Rasanya salah jika harus memejamkan mata ini dan membiarkan satu hari lagi berlalu tanpa berbuat apa-apa. Tidak melakukan perubahan apa-apa.

Aku rasa ini juga merupakan salah satu jalan untuk membuktikan dan menghibur diriku sendiri. Karena aku tau rasanya ketika kita butuh seseorang untuk menjaga dan membantu kita, dan ternyata sosok itu tidak ada. Perasaan yang sakit tidak bisa dijelaskan dan mungkin orang lain juga tidak mengerti, sampai dia merasakan di titik itu juga.

But it's not me. Bukan giliran diriku yang membuat perasaan itu ke orang lain.

Harus gimanaaa?? Apakah sesuatu yang baik harus melewati rintangan yg segini banyaknya? Mempunyai niat yang baik akan sesuatu, harus berhadapan dengan tembok yg sangat besar dan kokoh. Apa bener, untuk niat yang baik, pasti selalu ada jalannya? Kali ini gue gak ngeliat itu sama sekali. Belum mungkin.

Harus membuat statement seperti apa lagi?? help me.

Kehilangan barang aja gak enak apalagi kehilangan seseorang yang kita sayang. Gak pernah enak rasanya sampe kapan pun. Semua org bisa bilang ikhlas-in aja, tapi gue gak pernah ngerti arti maksud kata itu. Dan gak pernah ketemu tujuan dari kata2 itu yg bisa bikin perasaan ini jadi membaik. Gak ada yg bisa ngobatin itu.

Tapi akhirnya luka itu terlalu lama terbuka. Yang akhirnya malah jadi borok yg selalu akan ada di diri kita. Sampai akhirnya untuk mengobati itu memakan waktu yg lama dan lebih menyakitkan. Yep, itu yg terjadi.
Akhirnya, kita jadi mengerti dengan maksud kata2 itu. Kenapa kita gak boleh menyesali diri sendiri, mengapa kita gak boleh bersedih, dan kenapa kita harus berdoa untuk mengobati luka hati ini.
Menyesal tiada guna untuk diri kita, baik buat hari ini maupun besok hari. Just wasting time. Buat apa menyesali diri, toh kita akan pasti menemuinya lagi di dunia yg berbeda pula. Cuma masalah waktu aja.

Melihat sesuatu yg negatif dan membuatnya menjadi positif bukan hal yg mudah. Tapi kita harus terus berusaha. Dengan begitu kita juga melatih kesabaran kita. Ikhtiar, ikhtiar, ikhtiar dan pasrah. Mencoba, mencoba, mencoba dan pasrah, kembalikan semuanya kepada Tuhan. Ketika itu telah terjalani, maka yakin lah bahwa itu yg terbaik buat kamu.

Awal tahun 2009, semoga menjadi awal yg baik buat diri kita sendiri.
Semua target terpenuhi.
Baik target keuangan, spiritual dan kesehatan mendapat checklist di tiap checkboxnya.
Ya, sudah saatnya membuat sebuah kemajuan yg sangat berarti.

Sepanjang tahun 2008,
Banyak pelajaran yg diambil. Jauh lebih banyak dari sebelumnya.
Mungkin ini jadi tahap kembali menjadi lebih bijaksana dalam mengambil sikap dan keputusan untuk berbuat sesuatu. Karena hal itu lah yang menjadi topik pelajaran tahun 2008 kmrn. Banyak keberhasilan juga banyak kegagalan yg ada. Tapi lebih banyak lagi keuntungan yg didapat sehingga bisa sampai keadaan sekarang.
Adalah sebuah kemajuan yg sangat berarti, khususnya untuk diri sendiri.

Yang pasti, apa yang kita lakukan hari ini, berpengaruh di kemudian hari. Baik segala hal sekecil apapun. Ya, benar itu. Akhirnya aku mengerti juga.

Tidak takut untuk mengambil langkah,
asal kita tau langkah itu memang benar dan baik bagi kita maupun org lain, lingkungan kita.
asal kita tau, bahwa selalu berdoa adalah jawabannya dan,
kita ditunjukkan jalan. Jalan kita, hanya untuk kita, karena itu memang yg terbaik buat kita.

Bersyukur, sangat bersyukur,
ketika kita masih dikasih kesempatan untuk menikmati kebaikan2 yg ada di sekitar kita,
menikmati indahnya dan hangatnya sinar matahari pagi hari,
menikmati keadaan hidup kita yg masih di beri rezeki sampai skrg,
menimati berbagai cobaan yg datang, karena pada saat ini lah, kita diberi kesempatan untuk kita meningkatkan "level" diri kita sendiri, di hadapan Tuhan.

Berat ye,
tapi emang itu kenyataannya.
